Happy Birthday To Me
Not my best pic but it's certainly my best gift ever. It's from my birthday last year; a peanut butter sandwich wrapped in Christmas paper made my then four year old niece Soleil.
By the way, after I unwrapped it, Soleil ate it!

The Dog Days Of Summer
While driving to Compo I had to stop and take a picture when I saw this dog sleeping in the heat on his porch.

Back On The High Line Again
I was too busy to visit The High Line in Manhattan this spring with the dozens of tulips and seasonal blooms but not to fear, summer is just so lush and inviting. If you still haven't gone for a stroll up there, go now. My next visit will be at sunset because it's open until 11:00pm every night!

A Bow For Alice
My sister is not a girlie girl so she refuses to put bows in baby Alice's hair (especially when at the moment there is so little of it). So while my sister slept this afternoon, I found an old bow of my daughter's, put it in baby Alice's hair and quickly took a pic. Shh!

mp designs
I worked an event the other night for mp designs. I am totally not a jewelry lover but the pieces were so beautiful and different that I just had to share. Every piece is handmade locally with agate and other precious stones. I am wearing my new purchase now and not taking it off!
If you have any interest in purchasing this fabulous jewelry, mp designs is reworking their website so email them at info@micheleandpameladesigns.com and tell them you heard of mp designs on my blog!

Happy Father's Day
Another busy weekend, so I'm posting a few of my favorite pics of a few of my favorite dads.
Enjoy the day.

Sega Girls School
Busy weekend. I worked two bar mitzvahs, celebrated a friend's birthday and participated in a walkathon. Well I didn't really participate, I took the pictures. The walkathon was for Nurturing Minds in conjunction with the Sega Girls School in Tanzania. My son's former teacher is passionate about the cause and is bringing a much needed awareness to Westport and beyond. It was a hot Sunday morning but there was a big crowd of all ages. The most fascinating part was meeting the two teachers from the Sega Girls School who walked with us. It was their first time in America. Talk about culture shock! They were intelligent and soft spoken with open hearts and they loved walking in Westport and getting to know their new supporters.
My favorite Westport teacher meets Clementina, one of the teachers from Tanzania.
Anok, a wise and kind teacher from Tanzania
She wasn't walking but it still counted!
One of the first to finish!
Relaxing after the long walk.
Please check out the link below for Nurturing Minds and the Sega Girls School. It's a wonderful cause and so little can make such a difference.
